According to Kentucky State Police, the fatal crash occurred at approximately 7:30 a.m. on Kentucky Route 10 near Harrison Hollow Road.

Investigators reported that a Ford F-250 was traveling westbound when it attempted to pass another vehicle in a designated passing zone. During the maneuver, the Ford crossed into the eastbound lane and collided head-on with a Chevrolet Silverado.

The impact resulted in a devastating crash that claimed the life of Charles A. Corns. Troopers identified Corns as the victim, though officials have not yet released which vehicle he was traveling in at the time.
